CheapBot Smart Beacon

The CheapBot Smart Beacon marks the location of objects in a robot's world. A PICAXE-08M does the heavy lifting of detecting and identifying targets for the robot controller. Simple changes to the Smart Beacon's code allows robots to identify team members and goal posts.
The CheapBot Smart Beacon kit (cheap-beacon) comes with all the parts needed to make a beacon. The price for the kit has not yet been determined.
